Ph.D. Patent Agent – Electrical Engineer
Immediate need for a registered patent agent with an advanced degree, preferably a Ph.D., in Electrical Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in patent drafting and patent prosecution and will possess strong technical credentials in electrical engineering, preferably including industrial robotics, AI and machine learning primarily, electronic controls, and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. Opinion, client counseling and transactional experience also preferred. USPTO registration in good standing required.
This position is based in the firm’s King of Prussia, PA and/or Washington, DC offices but may be either fully remote or a flexible hybrid position working remotely and in the office, as needed. Compensation is based on level of experience and is competitive with major intellectual property firms.
