Virtual Patent Agent
Immediate opening for a registered Patent Agent with strong technical credentials in electrical engineering or computer science, and demonstrated skills in writing original US patent applications, including interactions with inventors, preparing drafts for review by a senior attorney at the firm and then for review by inventors and in-house counsel. Experience at remote telework under similar supervision is a positive. Strong writing skills a must. Three or more years of patent experience preferred. A significant mentoring component will be built into the working relationship between the agent and senior firm attorneys. Compensation is based on technical credentials and level of experience and is competitive with major intellectual property firms.
Patent Agent (EE/Computer Science) | Washington, D.C.
Immediate opening for a first to third year Associate or a Patent Agent. The successful candidate will possess strong technical credentials in electrical engineering or computer science, and have demonstrated skills in both writing original US patent applications and prosecution of applications before the USPTO. One to three years of experience preferred. Compensation is based on technical credentials and level of experience and is competitive with DC intellectual property firms.
