As a member of the firm’s Design Group, Mr. Koopman has prepared, prosecuted, and litigated numerous design patent applications.  Mr. Koopman has design patent experience in fields as diverse as medical devices, firearms accessories, climate-control systems, and bartending implements.  Mr. Koopman’s wide range of experience provides him with the know-how to identify and focus on the important features that make any product suitable for design patent protection.
