Dr. Fritz Wetzel Participates at the IIPLA 6th Dubai IP Congress 2020 Conference in Dubai

Dr. Wetzel is a German and European Patent Attorney and has practiced Intellectual Property law since 2002 with a focus on Chemistry related topics, in particular organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, plastics technology, pigments and dyes, liquid crystals, biochemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. He has additional technical background in mechanical engineering and additionally handles technical cases in process technologies, biotechnology and medicine technology. He has long-standing experience in patent drafting, prosecution, legal opinions, litigation, opposition and nullity proceedings as well as in trademark law.
Dr. Wetzel is admitted to the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the German Supreme Court for nullity proceedings. He is also a registered European Trademark and Design Attorney. He is a member of EPI, AIPPI, PTMG, INTA and FICPI and is honorary member and CFO of Kompetenznetzwerk IP e.V.
