RatnerPrestia Elects Brett Rosen and Sunjeev Sikand as Shareholders
Philadelphia, PA | February 2019 – RatnerPrestia is pleased to announce that Brett J. Rosen and Sunjeev S. Sikand have become Shareholders of the firm, effective February 5, 2019.
Brett joined RP in 2004 as a Patent Agent and most recently held the position of Associate. His practice has spanned the various stages of the IP life-cycle, from the acquisition of IP rights to the enforcement of those rights. Brett’s thriving practice at RP has a special emphasis on the automotive industry. All aspects of automotive IP are within his unique expertise, including functional IP (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and software) and design. Brett received his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law while working as a Patent Agent at RP. He also earned an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pittsburgh.

Sunjeev joined RP in 2014 as an Associate. With a decade of IP experience and a broad technical background, he represents clients in the electronics, computer, automotive, medical device, and nuclear industries. His current clients develop technologies as diverse as lighting control systems, automotive seals, bone-tendon-bone allografts, and nuclear fuel. He focuses his practice on IP counseling, prosecution, litigation, and transactions.
Sunjeev received his J.D. from Georgetown University and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. He is currently a vice chair of the U.S. Patent Office Practice Committee of the Intellectual Property Owners Association, frequently publishes articles in IP Law360 and is often quoted in IP Law360 on hot IP topics.
