Dr. Fritz Wetzel Speaks at the World Intellectual Property Forum in Dubai on January 17, 2018

Munich, Germany | January 2018 – Dr. Fritz Wetzel, RatnerPrestia shareholder, will speak at the World Intellectual Property (IP) Forum in Dubai being held from January 16-18, 2018 on a panel entitled Startups and IP.  The World IP Forum is a two-day conference featuring 150+ IP specialists sharing the latest trends, insights and strategies for patent procurement, litigation, trademark issues and other topical IP issues.

Fritz is a German and European Patent Attorney and has practiced Intellectual Property law since 2002 with a focus on Chemistry related topics, in particular organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, plastics technology, pigments and dyes, liquid crystals, biochemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and pharmaceuticals. He has additional technical background in mechanical engineering. Fritz additionally handles technical cases in process technologies, biotechnology and medicine technology. He has long-standing experience in patent drafting, prosecution, legal opinions, litigation, opposition and nullity proceedings as well as in trademark law.

Fritz is admitted to the European Patent Office, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the German Federal Patent Court and the German Supreme Court for nullity proceedings. He is also a registered European Trademark and Design Attorney. He is a member of EPI, AIPPI, PTMG, INTA and FICPI and is honorary member and CFO of Kompetenznetzwerk IP e.V.
