Jonathan H. Spadt Participates in the 34th Annual Congress-Bundestag Seminar

München | June 2017 – Jonathan H. Spadt participated in the 34th Annual Congress-Bundestag Seminar in Berlin, Germany, on May 31 and June 1.  The meeting brought together members of the U.S. Congress and the German Bundestag in consultation with the Business Advisory Council, on which RatnerPrestia is proud to have a seat.  The dialogue included meetings at the Reichstag, the Office of the President, and the Chancellery.  Topics included many of today’s current priorities, but focused primarily on trade and commerce between the countries.  The seminar is hosted each year by the Congressional Study Group on Germany, an independent, non-partisan and non-advocacy organization that promotes legislative exchanges between the U.S. Congress and German Bundestag.  This year’s meeting was co-chaired by the Hon. Charles W. Dent of Pennsylvania, and the Hon. Dagmar Freitag, MdB.  From Berlin, Spadt traveled on to the firm’s Munich office via Stuttgart to round out a 10 day trip in Germany.
