Nigon and Associate Andrew J. Koopman will present “Patent Procurement and Strategy in the Era of Alice and Mayo”.
The course will address the current state of patent subject matter eligibility under 35 U.S.C. § 101 including recent cases from the Supreme Court and the Federal Circuit. It also provides suggestions as to how to avoid receiving eligibility rejections by ensuring that newly-filed patent applications conform to the conditions for patentability under 35 U.S.C. §§ 102, 103 and 112 as well as the utility requirement under 101. The course is also eligible for one-hour of non-ethics CLE.
