Spadt, concentrates on international client needs and business development as he prepares for a two week trip to Europe. He will lead a series of presentations prepared for clients and strategic partners in Germany and Switzerland. The topics include Avoiding Common Licensing Mistakes and Obtaining U.S. Discovery in Non-U.S. Litigations. Shareholder, Gerard O’Rourke, who is currently in Japan meeting with clients, will join Spadt later in the trip to conduct sessions in Basel, Switzerland and Munich, Germany. Both attorneys are heavily involved with business abroad and are part of the firm’s initiative to build business internationally. Spadt, in addition to being the firm’s CEO, is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and chairs its IP Strategy and Risk Management group.
