Jonathan Spadt named President of the Lower Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners (2010)

Valley Forge, Pa., January 2010 – Jonathan Spadt was voted into the position of Board President by the Lower Pottsgrove Township Board of Commissioners on January 4, 2010. With two years remaining on his second term in office, he most recently served as the Vice-President in 2008 and 2009. Jon is also a shareholder in the intellectual property law firm of RatnerPrestia and, as a member of its Management Committee, is a leader in firm governance and strategic planning. Lower Pottsgrove is a Township of the First Class and its Board of Commissioners is a five member body elected by the Township’s residents in the general election. The Board serves as the legislative body of the Township, establishing policy, ordinances and resolutions that govern the municipality. Key among the Board’s functions are the establishment of the Township budget, the promotion of economic development, and the supervision of the Police Department and other governmental service providers.
