Mr. Blaszkowski joined RatnerPrestia after serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Sue L. Robinson in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Prior to his clerkship, he was a summer associate with the firm.
He has served as local and lead counsel, and has participated in nearly every aspect of district court litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, taking and defending depositions for both fact and expert witnesses, briefing claim construction, summary judgment, and in limine motions, as well as arguing these motions to the court.Â Through this hands-on experience, Mr. Blaszkowski has become adept at formulating litigation and pre-litigation strategy and executing day-to-day case management of district court litigation.

Mr. Blaszkowski leverages this litigation experience in his post-grant proceedings practice.Â In particular, Mr. Blaszkowski has experience in inter partes review proceedings, including drafting petitions for inter partes review which have been granted by the United States Patents and Trademark Officeâ€™s Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
In addition, Mr. Blaszkowski has significant experience in patent portfolio management, preparing patentability, validity, and infringement opinions, and preparing and prosecuting patent applications directed to technical areas including microfluidic devices, chemical products and processes, pharmaceutical products and processes, charged particle therapy, steel and aluminum refining, andÂ computer hardware/software.
Mr. Blaszkowskiâ€™s practice encompasses the chemical arts, with an emphasis on multiple stages of the patent life-cycle, from the acquisition of intellectual property rights during patent preparation and prosecution, to the enforcement of these rights through litigation and other measures.
