Mr. Rosen joined RatnerPrestia in 2005. His practice encompasses all aspects of Intellectual Property protection and enforcement, with a focus in the Mechanical and Electrical arts.
Mr. Rosen's primary responsibilities include the preparation and prosecution of utility and design patent applications in a variety of technical areas including automotive technology, medical devices, optical devices, electronics, fluid treatment systems and biomechanical devices.
Prior to joining RatnerPrestia, Mr. Rosen gained industry experience as a Senior Design Engineer for Motorola designing broadband network transmission equipment. As a member of several product design teams at Motorola, Mr. Rosen acquired valuable experience in the Mechanical, Electrical and Optical Engineering disciplines.
Mr. Rosen received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.B.A. from the Villanova School of Business and a J.D. from Temple Law School.
Mr. Rosen is a member of Ben Franklin Technology Partners’ Physical Sciences technical committee, a not-for-profit organization established to stimulate economic growth in the state of Pennsylvania through technical innovation. He is also a member of RatnerPrestia's Mechanical / Biomedical Devices Patent Procurement Group.
